Mule gooseneck trailer

Post by WPVT » Wed Feb 07, 2024 5:23 pm

The mule really isn't designed for towing, despite sometimes being used that way. Most tow hitches attach to the rear engine guards, which aren't that sturdy. The mule is designed to carry cargo loads on its platform, however.
I'm surprised that no one has tried building a mini-gooseneck trailer that would divide its load between the trailer axle and the mule platform. The gooseneck hitch could be attached to a large plate, that in turn, would attach to the platform, spreading that load as much as possible.
Does this seem feasible ?

Why not build off the weapons mount plate in the floor?

Thanks. That's certainly a possibility.
