Looking for ideas to mount the passenger seat on my mule without drilling any holes in the deck.

You could use the top holes of the handrail brackets to secure a 1/4" x 4" or 5" flat stock using 7/16" or 1/2" bolts. Then figuring out your hole spacing weld 2" or 3" channel to the flat stock with 45 degree gussets from the top of the flat stock to the bottom of the channel. You could tie off the ends of the channel with approve flat stock.

I would make sure that all metal is covered with 1/8" aluminum stock to prevent any metal contact with the bed. Or make the assembly out of aluminum.

If you wanted to anchor the inside of this frame you can use the bolts from the transmission shift lever guard or the steering column anchor brace.

This should be easy to install or remove with the seat installed. Thus allowing easy mounting of the seat assy.

It occurred to me that you were talking about mounting this to an A5 aluminum bed, thus the suggestion to cover with aluminum. I am putting this seat on an A2. Would the aluminum react with the magnesium bed?

The steel seat brackets have been on my A5 for 6 or 7 years with no issues.

The aluminum spacer is most needed to protect magnesium from contact with steel. Bare steel and magnesium are highly reactive causing qalvanic corrosion. Use primer and paint plus plated bolts. I use Never- Seez Mariners Choice as added protection especially on the frame tube bolts.
