Deck Anchor Winch

Post by Bean » Wed Apr 14, 2021 2:34 pm

I have what i think is a early WWII or possible late WWI ships anchor winch.it has a waukesha motors company 6 cylinder with a transmission that runs a hugh winch.I was told this was deck mounted and was used to retrieve anchors on a ship.It hasn't ran in years but is complete and housed indoors for 60 years.Any interest in this?

ok its a Waukesha 6 cylinder engine with a mounted transmission and a BIG ASS winch attached Was used at a marina to pull boats out of the water. This hasn't ran since 1989.Stored indoors since.Looks to be complete military with governor and original coil and plug wires. Will probably run with little work.
