This 1944 M29 Weasel Tracked Personnel Carrier was a vehicle designed by Studebaker for operations in mud and snow . The hull superstructure was plain and boxy with a folding windscreen at front and an optional canvas covering over the passenger cabin. The driver was positioned at the front-left with three seats in the rear spanning the width of the hull.
As a tracked vehicle the weasels provided a solid cross-country performance. It saw combat service in mainland Europe including the Italian Campaign.
Engine: Studebaker Model 6-170 Champion 6-cylinder gasoline; 70 bhp (52 KW) at 3,200 rpm.
Maximum speed: 36 mph (58 km/hrs.)
Weight: 3,800 lb (1,700 kg) dry

Tracks are original with nos boogey wheels. This Weasel is very original and comes with many correct details such as:
nos exhaust, with original guard
Original metal seats with new canvas backs and pads, also new window cover canvas
complete new original rubuilt engine and running gear with nos parts.
has all sheet metal for floors in rear. and for engine dividers from fuel/battery area
is fuel tank is out and running on a auxillary boat tank
some rust rot in front passenger corner and passenger cargo area.
have original rubber tank that is bad
