G'day Mark,

The original bumper was missing and I don't think the bumperettes aren't original neither :(

eventhough my GPW most likely cam from the USMC, I want to portray my jeep as a part of the 29th Inf Div 116 Inf Reg.

the reason I was asking is that I was surprised to find OD under forest green.

Cheers

We still use MT (motor transport) in the RAAF now. I almost became an MT fitter but got my way and ended up on aircraft

Leon, Try contacting a lady by the name of Monica Walsh. She is the research officer at the RAAF Muuseum Point Cook. The Museum has custody of the RAAF,s vehicle history records, including jeeps. She has been enormously helpful to me. onya bill cole

Thanks for that info Bill.
I will certainly give her a call and see what she can come up with.
