il mio dubbio ed è quello che vorrei sapere ...e' se avevano vara mente le scritte pressione gomme sui parafanghi..........
io di foto originali con le scritte pressioni gomme sui parafanghi non ne ho mai viste
le foto che dici tu sul libro di Emili becker non mi sembrano originali.....per quello che ho molti dubbi...
le scritte per quel che mi risulta erano sul cruscotto
poi magari sbaglio ...
possiamo aspettare qualche altro parere oppure aprire un Topic apposta su dove erano posizionate le varie scritte.....

Quale apposito strumento? Come conosci la giusta altezza?

Ciao Pierino,
ho usato lo strumento T109-26 per registrare l'altezza dello spillo e uno spessore da 3/8" per regolare l'altezza del galleggiante

Ciao,
no niente calibro specifico, abbiamo provveduto a sostituire la molla e a fare una "misurazione" approssimativa. Successivamente regolato la Metering Rod con T-109-26 .
Ora la carburazione sembra ok, ne magra ne grassa.

per "calibro originale" intendo proprio il "gauge" T109-26... di quello ti chiedevo se hai l'originale e se avessi anche l'altro... :)

non sapevo facessero le repliche...

giusto per informazione, questi sono gli attrezzi originali Carter, citati sui manuali, per la revisione del carburatore della jeep...

ed il manuale Carter per le operazioni da svolgere sui propri carburatori imbarcati sui veicoli US ARMY. il manuale, nella mia versione, è dell'agosto 1942, ristampato nell'ottobre 1943.
