Hi Jon,

Please add my jeep to the list. I live in the Northern part of The Netherlands, close to the owner of Slat I06I28.

Mine is Slat I06I63, dated 12-24-41 as per the data plate. Purchased from a guy located near Seattle WA. USA. It has a skinny Prop shaft.

Doing a frame off restoration at the moment, intend to drive it to Normandy next year.

Thanks,

Jos
I have to come back on this. At the time I disassembled the jeep it had the skinny rear prop shaft mounted. At assembly I found out both front and rear shaft were not the the correct size. When I bought the jeep a T-90 transmission was installed. Now I know the propellor shafts need to be replaced as well when the T-84 is exchanged by a T-90, as the T-90 is longer and therefore needs a longer front prop shaft and a shorter rear prop shaft.

So forget about the skinny shaft found on Slat Grill I06I63, it can't be original.

Cheers,

Jos

195179 (Dec 10th, 1942) had a fat rear drive shaft. (I was the 1st to ever remove it based on other clues)
