Hi Chris
I will start compiling a list. I am designing a short form to glean as much useful information as possible for fellow owners.

I have a few questions for Yorkshireman, are your numbers from original data plates? Do you have dates of delivery? Can you tell us the toeboard gusset numbers?

I own Slat grill 112038 with original data plates with dod 01-14-1942. Jeep is unrestored and appears to be all original. It still has the pancake air filter, hinged filterette, seelites, slat radiator and speedo. Plan to restore it and put in engine MB-103329. Right now it has a CJ engine that has all GPW accessories bolted on it with GPW T84 and GPW transfer case.

Hi Andrew,
My serial number is on the list, 108824, build date 2nd Jan, 1942. My name isn't there, not sure if you have it. Douglas Ingram, I'm in London.
Hood number is 4020099, it's original as far as I know, I found most of it under layers of paint.
Best,
D.

152977 seems to be the highest serial number that has a hood number starting with a W that is listed in the AWM.....hopefully more knowledgeable folks will provide additional information.

Hi Fellas,
You may add the 115169 with the body 17629 in Barcelona. Not in the list. No data plates and no hood number. DOD January 29 1942. In process (body almost finished, original axles done, ... no original motor, instead an unmarked 44 or 45.
Literally saved on the last minute to be wrecked as a donor (think they'd disgraced it and after realize that nothing was worthy) for a pool MB (not slat). Now with the body fully rebuild (remind me an aluminum paper after use... not an inch sane, tones of bondo and even 3 bullet holes.. not respected due the caliber, were on .45. Rebuilt respecting even the original weldings without replace anything but the rear panel as was cutted. Uncountless hours...shrinking and stretching... cutting and patching...

Cheers

Artur

Hi
Me and my Dad own 115058 which we bought from Brian Earp. We have the original data plates, which confirm the dod as 1/28/1942 and JMP have uncovered the hood number as 2041487, firstly in large white digits and then under more layers it was sat there in blue digits. JMP are currently doing a full tub restoration as the tub was in a really bad way, they are also doing a couple of repairs to the frame. The jeep will reside in Lancashire England when we get it back.
Thanks, Carl

There is two of us in the West Midlands that i know of, maybe more, not all jeep owners are on the G503. (their loss).
I have one in Lancashire, DOD 28/ Jan 42. It's currently at JMP having the tub restored as it was butchered by the previous owner. I met a guy somewhere in Yorkshire that had a Canadian Slat grill, but I don't remember his name, but he is on here.
