Slat Grill Bodies

Post by bluebluejays » Thu Jan 05, 2023 4:40 pm

Were some MA bodies possibly used on early slat grill assembly production.

I think I saw a slat body with the gusset number 0xxx

Any comments?

I say no. Perhaps some of the digits were stamped too light to see or filled with paint or an error. All the early slats photographed had regular slat bodies as far as I know. The frames were not the same and the front fenders would not bolt on correctly.
