Wiring route on the grill of a glov e box slat grill

Here is another question for you all. On a glove box slat grill, where does the wiring for the front marker/black out/side lights run? Is it along the top of the grill with the headlight wiring? where it seems there is no room or does it run along the bottom of the grill in its own set of P clips? Does anyone have any pictures?
