Slat grill glove box lock and keys

Post by wynnski » Mon Jan 24, 2022 8:08 am

Hello
I have some early key type glove box locks and I need the sliding lock pawl and the spring to go in the back. Does anyone make and sell these spares? Also was the key the same as the ignition key, i.e. the H700

This is the lock set

and these are the parts I need

the main body same as a 1936 gmc truck. you can use gmc tumbler but key wont be the 700. spring is easy made with gun spring from a gunsmith. the bolt is the hard piece to find. i found a bolt from g member but it was about 125 usd.

Thank you. Yes, I could make the spring, I have plenty of spring steel but I am hoping some one can help me out with the pawl/bolt
