Slat grill exhaust mounting points

Post by wynnski » Fri Jan 07, 2022 11:06 am

Hello, I need some help. I need to know where the forward exhaust mounting bracket is attached to underside of the tub. In TM 10-1513 change no 1, it shows the coach bolt through the floor, but does it go through the top hat section or not? In the TM there is a dotted line to suggest that it does go through the top hat channel.
Any info or pictures of unrestored slat instalations would be appreciated.

This picture is of the top side. In this picture the coach bolt is bent over in the channel of the top hat. This also shows the bolt in the bottom of the A pillar reinforcement brace which has been the subject to discussion in the past.
