Any ideas about all the extra holes in the cowl? Do any of them fit a pattern for something in military use or are they all just bubba?

Hello,

The holes look Bubba, but the larger hole with the bolt hole
pattern around it " might " be something.
I remember seeing on the G an early, rare type radio antenna mount that was positioned on the passenger side cowl, like you have.
It was a small type antenna and mount.
So it could be something, so I hope that another G member will remember or know that antenna .

Best Regards,
Ray

Hello Knut,

Yes that is it !!
It only took a year and a half to respond as I just saw your post :D !

I am guessing these were very early versions of jeep antennas .

Thoughts on rims would be Millers Tire, or Steiners (front 16" tractor Rims of various sizes hole patterns)
A CJ 2 set of rims? (What I have on my GPW for now)
Just passing thoughts along.
