This has a later style seat pan for the large neck gas tank. If someone swapped pans, only the frame itself would be early.

Not necessarily. Split back seats with the large tank openings were in use in Jan 43 and later. My 1/19/43 should have them, and I know of one unmolested 1/19/43 MB that was three down from mine that has them.
