Transfer Case Slatty

Post by Adam » Wed Feb 03, 2021 4:10 pm

Possibly government rebuilt,, ser J18250 Lots and lots of storage wear. Look at the pictures. Cosmoline on everything, will need a tear down to make sure all is fine. Paper seals are broken so dirt could of gotten in there. Paypal F&F or cash at pickup. Would prefer pickup so you can inspect. I can ship fastenal, you prepay them. Located in NE PA $1500. I have more pictures, will clean a few of the gears to see if they are new or used shortly. May pull intermediate gear just to look.

You can only go by the serial number right now, in the 18K's, never been hooked to a t 90 so its not cj. would have to pull off front bearing retainer to verify big hole in shifter rod area. Have not verified number on front bearing retainer, unit was rebuilt some time in it life so who knows on that. Not going to tear it all apart yet, there is info on here showing all the characteristics of a slat case that I will look into soon,, as should anybody looking to purchase something used in a specific date line
