Marc,

I got mine & you have done a great job of these & here is a deal, if you decide to make correct "F" marked ones I will buy some from you on general principle which may help to kill off the eBay sharks.

One again really nice job.

These are the first repro bolts I've ever seen that have been done correctly, beautiful job. Please say you'll consider doing a batch of 5/16 coarse thread F bolts in 3/4" upwards - so hard to find and so very pricey. You can rest assured they'll be plenty of buyers, far more than for TR20 I reckon.

Hi Marc

My PM seems to have hung up in the outbox

Do you still have some of the TR20 bolts left?

If so could you let me know the cost with shipping for 26off 5/8" and 14off 3/4" to the UK.

Many thanks Roy

I received the bolts..

WOW! They are perfect. Other than being too perfect it's going to be difficult to tell them apart from the real thing...

Thanks!

Marc,

Your Bolts are AWESOME... Extremely Satisfied is an understatement when showing off your bolts
to the guys. We did a mock up display where we primed and painted five of yours and five
originals from my Slatty. Not one of us could consistently pick out yours versus originals.

Between my originals and your repros, I have more than enough to get a TR20 bolt in every location
required. Like many of the others, I would strongly encourage you(BEG YOU) and pay in advance
if you were to repro the TR20 Bolts in 1/4 inch and the larger sizes.

Thanks again for your taking on this project and making these bolts available to us.

Rick Daniel

Marc, my complete set of bolts arrived today and I would like to add my compliments to the earlier ones. These are top quality and accurate in detail as others have stated. Thank you very much, Alan.

Not to hijack but has anyone actually documented the locations of the TR20 on early WILLYS Jeeps? If not should we start a list?

David,

I am the lucky but broke owner of MBI02891 D.O.D of 12-08-41 and I have bought 52 of Marc's TR20 Bolts and as I have previously posted
I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE BOLTS.

In response to your question, I have started going through my copy of TM-10-1206 CHANGE NO. 4 DATED DECEMBER 1, 1941. I thought I
had the number pegged at approximately 56 "HEXAGON HEAD SCREWS" Willy's Part Number 51485 as stated on page #81 under
Gov't Group Number 2304. It was almost TOO EASY!!!

I went to page #82 and under the Description of "BOLTS", Willys Part Number 52987 described as "Bolt 5/16-18x5/8" it says we need 6.

I am by no means, a Qualified Expert such as Mr. Ben Dover is when it comes to Military Vehicle's and the parts required to keep them
operational. I am completely clueless as to just exactly what the difference is between a Hexagon Head Screw and a Bolt?? if you can
answer that question it would make it much easier to determine how many we need??

I don't have the answers but to avoid a hijack of this thread, I have started a thread on the subject of where they go. Somehow I will add this to the Claude Pons list.
