Plastic Air Plane Models lot

Post by TOM » Sun Feb 28, 2021 7:10 am

My Dad recently passed away, he had a lot of 1/48,/1/72,1/32 and 1/24 plastic airplane models made by various makers, some very old some newer
He also had a few older balsa kits , and a bunch of them larger premade kits (Ultimate soldier, etc...)
what I am looking for is there a company that buys the lot
Thank You
Tom

Let me tell ya, I just sent a whole bunch of unbuilt models up to my brother and the shipping was (IMHO) absolutely horrendous. At least I thought it was until he showed me that someone else had one, just like one of the models I sent, and it had been bid up to $99 on eBay.

It was a model I wouldn't have thought twice about back in the day. So, that ONE KIT covered all the shipping and then some. Apparently things have changed since I put away my X-Acto kit.

So, my advice to you is, take a good look around and see what they're selling for before doing anything rash.
