Determing the scale ratio of a model & visversa

Post by lten1063 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 2:28 pm

This was suggested to put it here, so here it is:

Determing the scale ratio of a model to the real thing and vise versa. If your like me I buy models from time to time and always wanted to know the actual size of the model.

Any ways I found a web site that you can determan the actual size. All you need is the actual lengh of the vehicle. It takes some practice but you will get the hang of the site as I did to scale up a GI Joe jeep that I have and it came real close with in 1000s of an inch - or + of a MB/GPW. The ratio is 1:6th of the real thing.

So book mark it in your favorites and you will have it
