"Flames of War" Jeep

Post by Lee Bishop » Fri Feb 12, 2010 8:52 pm

A buddy of mine into miniature wargames told me about this Jeep from a WW2 game line. I'm not into such games at all but I had today off and swung by a local store that sells that stuff and bought one. It's a neat little model.
I pulled out what few model colors I had and spent an hour on it. It was pretty easy, just needed to file down the driver figure and super glue him into place and paint the thing. I know the paint job doesn't look all that great, but keep in mind that the entire model is just over one inch in length:
I'll be going over the base with something looking like grass eventually, just painted it sand color in the meantime. The Jeep other than driver is a one-piece resin casting. More info on the company here in case you're interested: http://www.flamesofwar.com/
