Re: Looking for armor for Passenger side foot well
Good luck on that one. You may have to buy it new or find a wrecked truck being parted out.
Coolant level needs to be dropped. A/c needs evacuated. A/c / heater core needs to be removed. Air filter can needs to be removed. A/c wiring needs to be pushed thru firewall into engine compartment. Then replace drier, vacuum a/c, recharge it.
I recently installed this in my truck and had to go thru all that.

Mac is out . problably 6 months to get it in. I dont have ac so not a problem there. There are alot of trucks coming out with them on it. Just need to find someone who doesn't need it or has a parts truck.

I am stating it only comes in those models i listed. If you put it in yours/ then the heater core assembly will have to come completely out. Your best bet will be to just buy a bad shape track at auction. You will get all 3 interiors. There is one heavy one above heater core.

Yeah I understand the heater core has to come out. I also have to install the piece that goes up against the front footwell. so im fully aware of what needs to be done.Buying another truck just for that one piece is not in my budget. Plenty of trucks coming out so im sure one will show up. This and doors are the only two things i m

Re: Looking for armor for Passenger side foot well
I frankly wouldn’t bother with that piece, you can install the exterior piece of armor on front cowl and also add all the other external armor to achieve the same effect, but if your goal is to be as exact as OEM, I understand…but at the same time your truck isn’t OEM anyway if your adding all this to an A0/A1/A2 truck, as those models didn’t use this BAE armor.mister60 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 11, 2021 3:45 pmYeah I understand the heater core has to come out.
