What is that, is that a M1101 or 2?

Well dam I’ve never seen one of those. The regular trailers were hardly used. I wonder how long/short those stayed in inventory before getting auctioned off. Thanks for the picture.

Really articulated there.
When the shelter can't be made to fit the HUMVEE, make the HUMVEE committed to towing the Shelter....kind of backwards engineering I'd think.
I'm sure if and when they come up for sale there won't be too many bidders, too short for real commercial use on a small truck (you could haul 3 cars on a typical gooseneck) so limited resale market out there.

Robert, Someone had a nice one for sale about six years ago. Not damaged at all. I have seen some of the fifth wheel assys for sale too, unfortunately none west of the rocky mountains.Hell On Wheels wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 3:46 amWell dam I’ve never seen one of those. Hello George,
Thats is nice research i would never expect less from you , no Im not looking for one. I was just surprised uncle sam would have had one of those setups in the inventory. You know when I bought my HMMWV it had the bed cut out for a fifth wheel rig. The bed had four cutouts to mount into the frame. I wonder if he had that set up. I since patched up the holes.
