INFO???CHANGING to 12V BULBS in M-series (1980s) TURN SIG and STOP LIGHT BUCKETS

I am changing out the bulbs in GI front maker Signal Buckets and the Rear Stop Light buckets to 12 VOLTS!!!!!
How many of what number bulbs do I need for each???

I am gong to have to buy a bunch or in bulk because I have 4 tail light buckets and 4 turn signal buckets to do!!!!

Can't you just take the 24v bulbs out and take them to Autozone and match up with 12v equivalents? They are just standard size sockets.

I could but then I'd be paying 2.95 per bulb when I might be able to buy in bulk on EPAY for 49 cents....just saying.
I will go try and and match them up though....good idea.
Just thought someone might have done this already and have the bulb numbers handy!!!!
