For your heater box your part number is for the basic models. A2s use 12447007 2540-01474-3217. While they look the same as a basic model IIRC the squirrel cage end is spot welded at a slightly different angle. Greg posted side by side pics awhile back.

The dash panel number is for the Heavy Variant up armored trucks with factory AC. Dash has place for two toggle switches.

Color may be a swap meet indicator as they look similar. Black is the A2. Notice the output connector angle.

I also wanted to clarify. Are there partitions between the seats on all hmmwv? hummer h1 does not have them.

That 97 H1 won't have the B pillar square tube.
92-93 H1's did....and maybe early 94...then they got rid of it.
All Hmmwv's have B pillar tube.

The closeout panel in your pic is for the A2 with 4 speed transmission note red resetable circuit breaker.
Only a few models (Non A2) had similar closeout panels: Shelter carriers, armored ambulances.

Thanks for the info! I have a couple more questions.
1. There are a lot of holes in my roof. What are they needed for?
2. Can I buy a b-pillar tube from old cars?

I would get the parts books out and start looking for cheapest source. Left and right bpillar tubes, mounting blocks, door jamb covers will get you started in the middle of roof.
