IBES TEK Bumpers - With Price
Sorry about the delay real work has a way of interfering with almost everything.
The basic unpainted and unassembled bumpers are ready to go and are offered in a couple of different packages. The basic bumper consists of the latches, hinges, top lids, top lid supports, rubber bumpers, fasteners, top rail and the lower base.
There are two different mounting kits, one for the M998 and the other for the M1114. I assume that the M1114 is the same as the M115x and M116x series as long as the winch plate is the same. If not the spacers are not particularly difficult to make. The two kits share 4 pieces that are essentially 3/8” steel spacers and they go on the inside of the bumper and bolt to the frame. There are a couple of pieces that increase the foot print of the M998 frame and there are two spacers that go between the bumper and the winch plate on the newer series trucks. The kits have not been made yet but I have quotes from the waterjet place I use and the labor is less than $50 with a total cost right around $100 with hardware maybe $110. I am surprised at how many people have bolted these bumpers on without the mounting kit – I wouldn’t recommend it but it is your choice.
Package #1
Basic unpainted and unassembled bumper described above
$775 plus shipping and any PayPal fees
Package #2
Basic unpainted and unassembled bumper described above
Mounting kit – specify M998 or M1114 (should be ready to ship after the first of the year)
$885 plus shipping and any PayPal fees
SHIPPING: The bumpers are almost 8’ long and will require that I make the pallet so shipping costs will reflect that. Ideally, the bumpers ship most efficiently in lots of 3 or 6 (one or two layers on a pallet). If you want to pick them up, besides eliminating the shipping costs, I will knock off $50 for saving me the hassle. In fact anyone who wants to pick them up will get first priority.
I prefer you arrange your own shipping; I will make the pallet, band it, wrap it and drop it off at a terminal within a reasonable distance. If I have to take care of the shipping there will be an additional deposit of $100 that will be returned if I don’t get up-charged (claiming you are a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift and really being a remote access farm house, etc.). I am tired of covering overcharges – personally I tend to avoid YRC and FedEx freight.
Shipping is not instantaneous so be please don’t pay me on Monday and start asking where it is on Tuesday – your money will be promptly returned.
Finally – If I told you a cheaper price I will honor it.

Re: IBES TEK Bumpers - With Price
I am waiting on the mounting plates to be finished and then I will contact everyone who expressed interest. My best guess is that they will be done this month - I have no control over it. After that I am probably going to take a break from bumpers or pass the torch to someone else. I bought out a warehouse full of parts and vehicles and that is a higher priority right now.
Thanks.
Thanks.
