M1165 Transmission Control Module

My M1165 came from Govplanet missing the TCM. I read that the EPROM 2 piece is being replaced with the PCS one piece TCM. Do all HMMWV's now use the same PCS TCM? I know that the EPROM TCM have different chips for different variants. My M1165 has the 4L80 with overdrive, any help would be appreciated, Thanks

So you are correct. PCS TCM is the norm now and the EPROM is old school.
There are 2 different PCS/TCM modules one is for armored trucks and one for non-armored. Basically they are the same and do the same job but the armored one will hold the shift points to bit higher RPM. No real difference other than that. Both should be available on epay for reasonable prices.
