M9000 winch bumper dimensions

Post by Kurt Lesser » Mon Oct 04, 2004 7:26 am

Jason,

These are the dimensions for the Warn M9000 winch bumper used on the HMMWVs. The 6000# winch bumper is different mainly in the opening for the cable. On the 6000# winch it's just a slot rather than a rectangular cutout. It's a little tricky to measure once it's mounted but here is what I was able to measure:

The unit is made from 1/4" thick plate

11" x 29 1/2" front surface dimensions

1 5/8" top and bottom "lip" tapered at the corners 45 degrees after the 90 degree bends

cable opening is 4 1/4" x 7" centerline is 4 1/4" down from the top edge

fairlead bolts are 4 1/4" down from the top edge, 9 1/4" from the right (passengers side) edge and 11 3/4" from the left edge

Hope this is what you need, make several lots of people need them.

Hi Brian,

I think there are several people out there that could use these bumpers and even more that need the frame extensions. You can put me down for a set please.

I'll be in Colorado again after the 17th and can look around for you if your after anything special.
