why are these bolts connected on a-arms

What is the reasoning behind these bolts being connected on the a-arms?

If I’m correct they’re only in the front upper a-arms and only on the rear of the two brackets on the bottom.

Who knows. At least you dont have to hold a wrench on the bolt heads. From memory, i think there are 2 different assemblies. One with longer bolts.

Perhaps it is because when a vehicle frame is designed for one gvw and the it gets increased, things bend after the fact and new and improved fastening points have to get added.

Anyone know for sure how many and what locations these are used in? For a REV build.

It’s to make life easier on the poor fool who has to do an alignment…the heads are buried deep and with a welded backing plate it allows for only a wrench on 1 side. Personally….I would make up those plates and tack weld the bolt head on all of them, especially the rear, makes life about a million times easier for alignment adjustment.
