bolt direction

Post by ohiohmmwv » Tue Dec 28, 2021 12:48 pm

Rear left upper shock mount - rev chassis

Do both these bolts really go this direction? It would
mean taking out the diff hanger bracket if the bolts ever needed to be removed. Was just curious if this was the way it was from factory even though it might not be the best.

Don't know about true factory install. But I did mine the other way with bolt going from outside to inside.

You are making good progress.

Here’s what I have loosely setup on the rev chassis from front to back(left side).

Last pic is of the body mount on the right which is unique to the right side.

If you guys see anything else that is in the wrong direction please let me know.

One that also has my attention is the front top a arm bolt. Probably best to have that one pointing the other way to get out with the least amount of other parts that need to be removed? Not sure.

Front upper a-arm bolts all have the nuts towards the front.
