Bumper height
I’m in the process of assembling my chassis.I’m putting some jack stands under the front and rear bumpers(m1151). Anyone know the approximate height I will need to get enough space under there to later put my tires back on without having to lift or lower the chassis too much again. I don’t have a set of wheels right now to measure.

Re: Bumper height
If a tire is 37", then center of hub to floor is 18.5" so round up to 20".

Re: Bumper height
Thanks Ted. Chassis doesn’t even have the hubs on yet unfortunately. I figured for now I’ll just do whatever height is comfortable to get all the crossmembers and other items in place and then lift higher or lower as needed later on. Sometimes I just over think these things.

Re: Bumper height
My 1152 rear bumper is 24" off the ground with rear tires on the ground. So you will need it to be about 28" off floor. 30 might be good work height.
