I am an amateur fabricator but I would have been mortified to send this out the door, whoever did such sloppy work should catch a ball of slag down their boot. This is how it fits now, the sponsons are about 3/4 of an inch too far apart and the c pillar is in contact on both sides. How should this area line up? If you can snap a pic of yours that would be a life saver.

I found this pic on the web. A bit hard to see, but it looks like the same gap...

Thats a home made C pillar tube...no wonder it don't fit.
Look at the one on fleebay under : hmmwv c pillar for $ 650....thats the way it should look, and sheet metal should slide over sponson on both sides.

You are 100% wrong. That IS the $650 C pillar tube from SECO ordered from ebay. I would love to get up close to compare these SECO parts to another truck with known original parts to see if they are selling knock offs or seconds.

The metal work on the roof is nearly as bad, the sponson I bought from them was literally warped, and there is allot more to say about dealing with them.... that will be a long separate post.

It figures...You know nothing about this stuff, or you would have seen that fake C pillar

You mean the one you recommended I buy? "Look at the one on fleebay under : hmmwv c pillar for $ 650....thats the way it should look"

I suppose that is two of us that didn't spot it.

Wow, those look like crap....the ones I had made were so good, once painted and paid with an OEM bar, you could not tell the difference, the welds on ours was even superior.

"allegations only" LOLOL. How much proof do they need. SECO sells everyone cheap made parts.
