trickle charger with glow plug controller disconnected

Well I do any damage if I keep my trickle charger on to keep batteries charged when I have the glow plug controller disconnected?

As long as you disconnected the batteries before you disconnected the control box. I dont disconnect the box when charging, just keep ignition off and I have a ground disconnect for storage.

Take the batteries out and trickle them while out of the way. Keep off concrete floor.
