I thought I would post this since o had a few people ask over the weekend. I guess auctions do that!
IIRC:
The m1114 /1113 and early ecv, m1123a1, m1097a2, m1045a2 etc...., had round lifting loops and are 12k with standard steering gear and clutch cooling fan.
The early m1151/1152/1165 had square lifting loops with improved 12k frame and are 12k with Shepard steering gear and clutch cooling fan. Early 2000 to 2008 ish. Later, some of these trucks went through a REV program and the tubs were placed on REV frames and their abandoned frames were destroyed. Not all 300,000 serial number trucks are REV.
The later m1151/1152/1165/1167 are REV frame trucks. 3 piece welded rails, bigger bolts for frame mounting brackets, and straight cut geared hub gears and geared fan drive. Also Wilwood brake setup. Around 2008 to now.
The NY auction Saudi trucks are early m1152's (non REV) that were rebranded m1113 so they could be exported. They have low 300,000 serial numbers.
So you cannot go by serial number alone.
Some other changes over the ECV era are brake rotor design, halfshaft flange diameter and the use of more nutserts on the tibia to name a few.
I'm sure I missed something since I'm getting older!

Mine is a 2007. It was the 2nd REV, but I do not know if it was built separately or on the normal line. The Wilwoods still had plugs in the threaded holes. I figured the Saudi trucks did not have GFD due to what the customer wanted?
I thought the REV had helical hub gears.

This is an M1113 with square lifting loops and the moral of this story AMG did what they want you can‘t 100% Stick to the manual…
This M1113 (Made in Feb. 2010) is 335,817 but it‘s not an REV it still has the old style brakes. (can see it on another picture)
But according to the CTIS it might not be for the US-Armed forces

The ECV must have been coming up in 1996 with M1113 and M1114 (referring to The TM....387-24P the list the transmission from 1996) The oldest issue of the TM I could find is from October 1997

My mistake. Helical cut gears in geared hubs. Brain fart. I cant seem to edit the post.
By no means is there exact dates, that's why I added "ish".
A REV has ECV components but a ECV is not a REV.

You mostly get a general idea as to what it could be when you read the data plates (all of them), but when you study each truck, many are mislabeled. Like 2 doors that are now 4 doors and visa-versa. I have seen M1165's that started out to M1152's and M1113's that started out as M1152's. I've even seen M1151 REV's that started out as M1151's. However a M1114 is always an M1114 for you can't miss all the armor bolt holes and the rear ac kit contraption! lol

And I think the m1114 is the only one with a lowered battery compartment. Hard to change that.

On the REV trucks, another Graphic refers to a Sheppered steering gear as an improvement. But the only part I find online lists all the A2 trucks and the m11xx trucks as proper figment:

The TM shows the m83p2 Sheppard steering gear box to be used on serial numbers 246,890 and above. So that is before the REV. There are 2 different pump with the remote reservoir. Frame rails are made for either the Sheppard gearbox or the older Saginaw gearbox. They arte not interchangeable. (without modifications) There are 1-piece and 3-piece frame rails that will hold the Sheppard box.

7k, 10k, 12k solid rotor, 12k vented rotor.
I had an m1114 with solid rotors, and m1152 with wilwood vented rotors.
