Aux Heater on Back Wall

I have seen pics and a couple people mention putting heaters on the c-partition. If using coolant, is that even possible? The heater will be higher than the fill point on the reservoir. Even if there was a fill point on the aux heater, wouldn't the overflow tank blow out a lot of coolant if the pressure hit 15psi?

It is not the pressure that may make it problematic, it is the expansion of the added fluid. Can the early or late type reservoir handle the expansion and contraction, only someone who will try it will know. Two 5/8" lines back there and a small core should not add too much coolant. Don't forget the bulk if the core is not fluid but space for the fins and air flow. The key is to have a good fan to move air through the core to exchange the heat. All that being said, the TM for the M1151's shows heater core/fan assys beneath the two rear seats so it should work with no problems. I never have been able to find any of these Unicorn Humvee Items in many years of looking and asking though. You might even be able to add the glycol cooled NP2225 into the mix and still be OK.
