Turret Motor and controls question
Does anyone here have the schematic for the wiring of the turret motor and the controls for it. I've got the parts, just no wiring harnesses. I've got the newer tan motor and the green motor. Both have the harness on them and I know they plug into the BPMTU controller. They appear to be the exact same harness. I know the tan motor has an electric brake at the rear of the motor housing/shaft and has a manual override (engage, disengage) where the green motor also has an electric brake without the manual override. So it appears they are wired the exact same way in regards to the 4 pin cable connector.
Any diagrams or practical experience with these would be greatly appreciated. I have the green motor, green BPMTU and a tan joystick.

Re: Turret Motor and controls question
Tan motor needs Tan box...tested many.
Tan motor with green box : when you disengage lever and put in crank handle...it won't properly turn unless you disconnect
the 4 pin connector.
Joy sticks if used... half the time don't work...they get water in them and corrode the mini circuit board.
Motors with proper box : Voltage can be 24 vdc in at top connector to work, but bottom grey connector needs 27.5 and above to work.
Tan motors that are quick disconnect are Mrap .
Green are M1114 or M1151 depending on gears/chain assy. .

Re: Turret Motor and controls question
So, I supplied 24v using an ac to dc converter that is rated at only ten amps. Green box, green motor, tan joystick that appears NOS and no water damage. I wired to the top as directed. I did not have the harness from joystick to green box so I looked at the installation tab and matched the pattern. Nothing fried, but nothing turned either. The battery indicator works fine, so at least that part of my box works. by any chance do you know which pins in the 4 pin connector coming from the motor do what?

Has to be all hooked up before you pull up the red button.
After you pull up...press the battery button...if it blinks...no go....something is wrong.
Blinks when battery is to low...wires hooked up wrong....joy stick bad...etc..
Needs more than 10 amp.
I test with 2 batteries.

Re: Turret Motor and controls question
Bringing back old post, does anyone have the cables? funny question right. What about the turn connector for both cables? I think I'm going to have to try to make the harness, I need is the part numbers if possible of the turn connectors. Thanks for any replay.

You can get them direct from the manufacturer. Not cheap though.
