m1114 c partition

Post by jwaller » Tue Oct 30, 2012 6:04 pm

Ok guys I've got myself a C partition and I want to install it. Problem is I don't have any of the brackets to bolt it in. I figure I'd just make them. So what I need are some pics of exactly where this thing goes because without the brackets I don't have anything to locate it in place.

I've searched google images and other sources for about a week and all I can find are 1150 and 60 series trucks. The local base and NG sites have also gotten rid of all the older 1114 trucks.

Does anyone have some interior shots of this thing installed? I've looked in the TM's and they are not good enough for what I'm trying to do.

If anyone has any of these brackets I need um. At least to duplicate them.

I can have the partition made but it won't have the door in it. If your looking for 100% authentic then keep trying to find an original one. I spent 4 years looking for mine.

that almost looks like the ones I issued out in South Korea in 2009/2010.

The only thing that I see missing is the star centered on the tailgate.

Due to the lack of storage from the wagon canvas setup to the M1165, we installed Generator Tool Boxes (Ordered 6 at the same time so they all matched, that seemed to be the key) and installed them on the metal over the wheel wells (the flat smooth piece, not the actual top of the fenders). Looked great and gave them some enclosed lockable storage outside of the cab.

I think I'm going to go this route with my wall, I made it out of cardboard, in the process of fabricating. I made so that it will be removable and the rear hatch will still open and close.

would anyone know if an M1114 C-partition would fit into an older M1043 slantback ? I'm guessing as the sponsons are pretty much the same there should not be any issues but before I start wrestling with a big hunk of kevlar maybe someone here may have some clues.

What is the purpose of the plates on top of the rear wheel tubs?
