m115x b-pillar

Post by Action » Tue Dec 24, 2019 4:53 pm

Does anyone have a decent pic of the b-pillar mounting blocks in one of those "m1113"s that Gov Liquidation sold a while back? It looks like the standard ones will fit? Maybe the thick black blocks are needed because of armor weight? I am asking only about the 2-door. Or has anyone found the 2-man roof and parts in a manual?
Or part numbers for the longer blocks? The manual has them listed as a bolt...I also looked in the service books, but didn't see that part, just the armor.

Thanks. Is it the same on both sides? Greg, you have some spares?

No spares...both same.
The body if not original M1151 / 52 probably wont have the lower steel b pillar bar inserts.
Getting some made.

The 1113’s didn’t have those, I got mine from Greg, they were very nice.

Is the lower bracket you speak of the 12480843 or something below that?

Its lower...no part number known.
I got a set from a guy that reproduced them, and I had them repro'd.

What does it do? If I get an aluminum top, I will definitely inquire with you again.

From my recent build of an m1152 top, the B-pillar closeout panel is different on a 2 man, there is a little grinding required to make the armor wall fit. Also some Black B-pillars have all the riv nuts installed, others don’t.
