H line conversions clean up

Post by Stratton » Mon Dec 03, 2018 4:49 pm

Hey all,

Im in the process of working on a truck that was just "finished" getting a duramax conversion by H- Line conversions...... Eesh is all i have to say.

The truck left as a normal A1 with functioning lights, wipers, blinkers. etc. Returned as a durmax powered hmmwv with 12v conversion and no working wipers or blinkers. etc.

I found the issue with the wipers is a bad ground - fed 12v from batteries to wiper motor and it functioned, just slowly, i have power to wire 27 at wiper plug, jumped ground and it ran.

My issue with the blinkers is such, all lights function as normal, but no blinkers. They have been swapped to LED and fronts remain as Incandescent.
- I read this thread - viewtopic.php?t=281425
it was of help to get me started but now I'm looking for pinouts.
I found the flasher under the dash has the plug pulled off and was rewired into this conversion harness. There are some wires labeled, added, changed, etc. its a nice mess of Duramax harness and original wiring.

Ive looked at the wiring diagrams with no good answers found by myself.

Does anyone have the list of wires (#'s) and functions for the turn signal switch and flasher??
Thank you in advance,
J

Why didn't H-Line give you back a working HMMWV? $32,500 for a basic install? How much more would it have cost to finish it?
Sounds like a Predator job.
Are you running a 24v wiper motor on 12v? That will make it slow.
Look for the flasher and switch on the diagrams. See what numbers come out of them and follow the lines in the diagrams to see where they go.

Yeah, H line was not very good about providing what they promised on this truck, this is the minor stuff thats wrong......

Correct the 24V wiper motor is slow because its on 12V,

I have not been able to find a wiring diagram that is visible fully. theres always a page thats blurred in the PDF that i found.
Thats why I'm here asking for help. or pinouts,
A good copy of the wiring diagram will even do just fine.

Thanks for input jason, i agree

just do a web search for the TM with "PDF" also in the search. Try a couple until you find a readable one.

Wiring diagrams are in the -20 series manuals in the very back of volume three.
