Re: SWFL
I know someone with an M38A1 is it. My 3a is parked right now with other things going on so maybe this fall/winter I will get it out. I have lived here 55 years and older jeeps are few and far between. A friend from Church has a 2a but he hasn't worked on it for a good bit. Still would be nice to get at least contact information. What do you have? PM or e-mail me. Thanks

I live off of Alico Rd and know right where you will be. That family running it had one brother name Frank Land and he was the auction guy. The other brother John Land had an auto supply store for years and I got a lot of my jeep stuff from him. They are both deceased now. I have a 1950 3a but it has been sitting a while so will need a little carb, fuel work to get it going probably this fall on that. I have a 1947 BT-3 civy trailer and a 1943 K-38 cable splicer trailer and have just finished getting my 1946 Cushman series 50 step through going after trying to get it with the old fashioned magneto but no avail and had to put an electric starter on it. Going to the Cushman reunion in Ohio the June and that is my birth state. scooter came from Ohio when my Uncle who found it and brought it to my Dad in the 70's

Re: SWFL
The weather was terrible had a heat wave and some crazy weather thing called a Deracheo? And we were tent camping. Left a day early but the event was great. 32 mile ride with 80 scooters and a 40 mile ride with 38 scooters. My little 4hp 1 speed was wide open but held my own. Looks like there is a SE Cushman Club that hold quite few events so who knows?

Here is my 46 Cushman on a carrier I built to haul it. Too long to fit in my Tacoma and wasn't going to mess with a trailer. It is about 215 lbs so pretty stout.
