S. J. Vets Parade 2022

Post by Kim Sievert » Mon Nov 14, 2022 7:21 pm

Since there was no original posting about the parade, I'll start one, to ask a question.
What was the count of MV's in each group ?

Kurt said "It was noticed that you didn't show either."

Kim says, Slightly torn meniscus injury, to left knee, in October.
Walking any distances, makes my knee swell up and have noisy crepitus.

The Vets council posted the video of the parade, so I watched it.
The Eagle Field group, was the second to last group, behind the group of disorganized cub scouts and brownies,
and the Eagle Field group, was at the 1 hour 36 minute mark of a 1 hour 39 minute parade.
The local MVCC, was also in the last quarter of the parade.
Spirit of 45' had a excellent showing including military vehicles and parade placement, that is how a Vets Day should look like.
Horrible parade group movements and typical skewed politics.
The Eagle Field group, should have led off the parade, in my opinion.

Sorry to hear about your knee. Hope it gets better for your long walks around the Camp Plymouth meet.

You might try GL-1 oil and a dose of STP to quiet your crepitus.
