Huge fire has broken out above town of Pioneer Calif, 30,000 acres, 86 structures..
Pollock Pines area being vac,d
Please all keep eye on this one, with these crazy winds .
Don't know if this will affect our swap meet at Plymouth in Sept.
Im about 50 miles away from Plymouth south, Fire looks gigantic

also the news say that people with big live stock to take them to the amadore fair ground also lot's of people been evacuated

Update fire has doubled in size overnight . Zero containment and winds are now pushing it to the south, Crap that’s right where I am

Let's hope they get a handle on that thing, and it doesn't cause issues with Plymouth. Summer has already been a bummer. No sun for well over a month. Power out with temps at 116 degrees and now for another three days without power and A/C. Was looking forward to just a little joy this summer....

Just so readers don't get cornfused, Zeph lives four hours north of Plymouth. Different fires.

On the Camp Plymouth 2021 Facebook page, Nancy Porter said there might be some evacuated furry animals sharing the fairgrounds with us. If so, Melissa Jones won't be the only Furry at the meet!
