After Action: Petaluma

My thanks to Dave and all the usual suspects who managed to put on an excellent operation under difficult circumstances beyond their control. I count myself fortunate to have been there. Looking forward to seeing all who can make it to the Fall meet at Camp Delta. And all the stuff in between.
Best, Ed

Ed, well spoken. The crew did a great job with what they had in hand. Glad to see it moving back to tower.

i would like to thank all the members who participated in the convoy to the coast.it was a great turn out, with alot of very nice vehicles.we had great weather, with a few clouds.we got a little separated coming back through point reyes station, that can happen.i guess thats why we called it convoy to the coast, not convoy back from the coast.i know most of the members prefer tower park more then petaluma, mostly for the central location, but you must admit, you can't beat those sonoma coast roads.i will be working on a convoy for next springs meet.thank you again.p.s. it was nice to have randy parent and his wife tracy, holding up the rear, doing the job of tail end charlie during the convoy, like last year. .great people.

Greg,

JoAnnn and I did a couple of recon runs around the Delta that you might want to take a look at. I think I still have all the maps and info in the HMMWV.

Greg, there is a booklet about things to do around the Delta that I'll try to find a copy of for you. There are quite a few ferries that cross the slews that might be fun to use and meet up points.
