Wishing everyone a safe trip to Plymouth

Post by Kurt Lesser » Thu Apr 21, 2022 7:07 am

Just a quick note to wish everyone a safe and uneventful trip up to the Plymouth Meet next week, Looking forward to seeing you all there. As we used to say: "Fair winds and Following Seas!" Is the Army equivalent to this "Keep your powder dry?" Air Force: "Any landing you can walk away from is a good one!" Marines: "Got any peaches?" And Coast Guard: " " You never hear anything from them!

We are really looking forward to the event - it will be our first at Plymouth and we are bringing my [work in progress] 1942 GPW which we took to Normany France in 2019. :D

Nice one. You forgot the California State Guard (new name for CA State Military Reserve): "What, me worry?"

Very nice event, perfect weather, I brought more to sell than normal so was stuck in my camp way too much but we had a lot of fun. Thanks Jo-Ann for organizing the campsites!
