FYI there are details over on the MB/GPW For Sale forum about the raffle for the new MD Juan '42 GPW Maxi-Kit with Frame that will happen Friday evening 4/17, 2020. This is the kit that arrived too late out of the Port of Oakland to display at the meet, so the raffle was postponed to the 2020 event so people can see and touch it. I believe this will be run like last year's plan - separate tickets from the annual raffle which will be going on at the same time.

There's been a change in the way we are being asked for payment for the upcoming April meet at the 49er Resort this April. They have requested that we pay for our members with one check like we do at the Amador County Fairgrounds rather than individually upon arrival. The change has resulted in the necessity of the MVCC collecting all monies for the event so we are asking everyone to include payment for their full stay when they send in their registration form. We'd like everyone who wishes to attend to fill in the reservation form and get it to our wagonmaster JoAnn as soon as possible. Because of this change the deadline for reservations will be moved up to March 15th so if there are any problems we have time to address them.

If you were in attendance at last years April meet your name is still associated with the site you were in unless you have notified us that you will not be attending or that you wish to move to another site. We will do our best to fill any open sites and make requested moves based on the number of sites the resort allocates us. The same holds true with the Amador County Fairgrounds although we do have more flexibility there with the spaces.

This information is also published in the MVCC Newsletter and on the MVCC website here: The registration form is also available for download from that location. The official dates for the meet are April 15th thru the 18th in order to meet our 4 night minimum requirement for sites at the 49er. However, you are more than welcome to come in early and stay late during this week that starts on Easter Sunday.
