18th Annual Armed Forces Day / Living History Day at Camp Withycombe
9:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturday, May 17, 2014

America’s military history comes alive to honor all US Veterans!

Displays include:
 Restored military vehicles from World War I to present.
 Authentic military campsites and displays of uniforms, arms, and equipment.
 Living Historians and military vehicle collectors, ready to share their knowledge of military history.
Please note:
 Drivers must present a valid Driver’s License to enter Camp Withycombe.
 All adults need to present a valid form of identification.
 Food and beverage are available for sale at the Post Exchange.
 Preregistration is required for living historians, vehicle displays, and swap meet vendors. The form is available online or by contacting the individuals below.
 Living History Day is located just off I-205 at: 15300 SE Minuteman Way, Clackamas, Oregon

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the 18th Annual Living History Day! We look forward to having you. This is a free public event, and is rain-or-shine. To reflect a positive image for both our past and present military forces, we request that all participants adhere to the following expectations.
1. Please arrive and have set-up completed no later than 8:45 am on the day of the event.
2. Please do not begin teardown of displays until after 3:30 pm.
3. Drivers must present a valid Driver’s License to enter Camp Withycombe. All adults must present a valid form of identification. Those without valid ID will not be allowed on-site.
4. Participants are expected to provide their own drip pans and absorbent materials.
5. Firearms brought onto Camp Withycombe must have the bolt open and locked to the rear. To enter post, place a zip-tie through the magazine well or have a nylon cord extend from the bolt through the barrel. These may be removed for display.
6. If any demonstration of your equipment will produce a loud noise, please coordinate FIRST with the CW2 Ryan (above).
7. We encourage you to promote visitors’ understanding of your display. Strive for authenticity in uniforms, equipment, living conditions, and for objectivity in presenting historical information to the public.
8. Participants are expected to act in a mature, professional manner. Be patient, polite, and courteous with the public and fellow participants.
9. Display areas are only for display vehicles, tables, etc. Additional parking is available on-site for personal vehicles.
10. Cancellations are requested by May 9th, to the above point of contacts.
Again, we thank you for your interest in participating in Living History Day! Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and dedication really make this event memorable, educational, and fun for all ages.
