Tower of Power

Post by The Fireman » Wed Mar 16, 2005 12:56 pm

Yo Mike,

You must have alot of spare time on your hands if you are playing with the cornputer and not out wrenchin. Progress is being made on the "A train". It should be roughed out by the end of the week. The issue is the guy who is helping with this dad's went into the hospital and he is helping on the the side. He has a sheet metal shop, so any assistance from him is greatly appreciated. Other than that, Joe is going great guns on his MB and hopefully will have it ready for the "TP". Now I got to get back to work, so hang in there and we will all make it through this crisis.

Si Fi,

FAMOUS AUTHOR

Post by goldhill joe » Thu Apr 07, 2005 8:09 am

Mr. Seymour,Sir--Now that you are a famous author and have been published in ARMY MOTORS--CONGRATULATIONS. By the way, that was a good question. I appreciated it, since I know next to nothing on MB/GPW`s and must rely on the FIREMAN for most of my jeep project. The FIREMAN has threatened to burn my ALL AMERICAN WONDER Vols.
BTW--The FIREMAN`S Amb is coming along nicely .
See you at TOWER

Oakridge Boy

Yo Mike,

Just a quick question, how come you and Joe got different thingee's on your rates and how come Gold Hill Joe had more hash marks than you on his rate thingee ???????????

Inquiring minds want to know !!!!!!!!!

May make some substancial progress on the A train on Friday, like may even drag it home and start the pre prep for the Tower Of Power thingee.

However, there is one other issue we must discuss, when was the last time you checked your six ??????

Keep the faith,

Frank

Frank, Joe was a Machinest Mate, so he has Mickey Mouse ears. I was a Boilerman so I have a steam propelled ass*ole. Joe out ranked me because he was a lifer. As a matter of fact, I heard scuttlebutt that Joe was a plank owner on the Ark!
I found out I was half civilian on my mother's side of the family and got out after one hitch.

BTW..Wutsamatter with my six?

Only thing I do know -ain`t got nuttin ta do wit firehoses. Just that I was a slow learner. Some got it some ain`t. The Fireman is gonna stop by on his way home(I hope) so I`ll get a look at the "A-Train." It is hard not to be impressed. Gotta be envious, it is something unique. Mike, better check your water level-I just shut off your feedpumps. Have a great week-end-Joe

BTW--Chains required on the Pass goin South. Hope it is not like that in a couple weeks. Don`t need no negative vibes. Every year I worry about the Summit. Putting on chains is not one of my favorite things.

 Mike, I was planning on hooking up to the Fireman if worst comes to worst. He can pull us both up and over. Besides, hell be most likely be listining to Mick(Rolling Stones) and won`t know why he lost 5 MPH on the way up the hill.. NOW if he planned on hooking onto Ron-well, then we`ll have us a real train. Besides brakes are only for stoppin-you ought to be able to slow down just after the Klamath River over pass. :P On the other hand, you may run out of fuel by the time you get to Ashland and need to re fi your home to afford a fill-up.

Joe,

You should be ashamed of your self, picking on a person of lower rate than yourself. Gee whiz, I only made E-3 for goodness sakes. Don't you worry about needing chains to go over the pass. Thank positive for a change-sheesh !

The A Train will be south bound and down on channel 2, be there or be square !

Mike, you should show your fellow squid a little respect !

Yea Mike, --what he said-I am really sensitive. I do detect a bit of jealousy in your mail, Mr Fireman. You may have been one of the few/proud, but it still is the Navy  Dept. Who was that masked man? You fellas have a great :D one. Joe
