Hope you have a good time and good sell'n Big Joe. Wish I could get away but can't this year.
Boy wouldn't it be great if Gridley became the new Tower Park meet since Petaluma was such
a disappointment.

Re: Hibernation?
Well we are going back to Tower Park for Spring 2019! Orygunians are invited. Management will be mostly finished with changes to the place this Summer. We saw some of that last September at the Camp Delta Fall meet. Do you know that meet never left TP? It was one of the best in a while because we were in Campground 2 by the levee and were all military in there, away from the civilians who want to be by the pools. This September there will probably be a lot of folks at this meet to kick tires and pick out their 2019 campsite or cabin in the areas where we have been every year.
There are a lot of changes - many more cabins in Campground 4 (for those in the State of Jefferson that means "where the Pavilion is") and more cabins in Campground 2 ("The one closer to the bar"). Also a number of campsites in Campground 4 were combined to create long pull-throughs.
All this means is we start from scratch with reservations. Management is ok with sharing sites but there has to be one name on it and then you work it out with your partner. Huge pull-throughs are great for sharing and they have vehicle access on both ends. The big cabins that can sleep 6 or more can be shared. Many of these have parking for 2+ vehicles.
You will hear that the number of sites/cabins has shrunk. True, in the areas we have booked. BUT there are some expansion possibilities.
Reservations cannot be made until October 1. More about this in the MVCC newsletter and elsewhere.
