Blue Tarp Display at Tower?

Post by John Neuenburg » Sun Dec 12, 2010 10:26 am

A guy in Rio Linda asked about doing a blue tarp display or seminar at 2011 Camp Delta but didn't want to run it. I don't know much about them so wondered if you all had any ideas how that would work. Thought maybe Frank could coordinate but we already owe him for dragging the fordbulance down last time, 'spensive as it is now, and we hear Mac is bringing a fancy Dodge and probably won't have extra room for tarps what with all the polishing rags stocked up for his truck display.

I think it should be named the "most creative use for a blue tarp" and a special MVCC award given.

Well the tarps could be put over just about anything. If we have enuf of them the Feds with their blue tarp spy satellites might want to pay us a visit to see if there is any contraband under them like stills, illegal backyard fire pits or unlicensed vehicles. That would be interesting if it worked. Kinda like fishin.

But thats not very interesting. Creative use makes sense. I can see Jo-Ann sewing up an attractive coverup with one. Or someone can make a utility play, like covering up Willy's Bounder. Need a 40 footer for that.

Only problem with Banjolanders being involved is the tarp would uncover something back home so probly this deal won't happen.

Howdy---BANJOLANDERS are keeping the BLUE Tarp secrets close . It is hard for them to share with "outsiders"...............................You would have to experience it/hard to describe.
Banjolanders hear about the TARP/bailouts and still think it is a welfare program for new roofs-go figure!

OK Joe, the tarp display is out due to everybody has prior commitments for them. We'll just go with Dodges, staff cars, radios, new .30/.50 Browning seminar, tire kicking, hot dogs...
