Vietnam MVs Needed for Movie Shoot - Alameda, CA in November

Post by John Neuenburg » Mon Oct 20, 2008 8:07 pm

If you are in Northern California and care to make a few bucks with your Vietnam era MV, there is a movie being filmed at the former NAS Alameda and Hayward Airport. $300 per MV for a long day and into the night for certain vehicles. Probably Nov. 15 but date could change. This is the first film about the Vietnam war to be filmed in Vietnam. Most of it is "in the can" except for some "Army base" shots that are being filmed here.

Details are on the MVCC website in the events section, to include a letter from the producer:
http://www.mvccnews.net/event_pages/vietnam_movie.htm

Information will be updated on that website rather than here. I need to hear from you ASAP and will then forward your info to the producer.

Please pass the word to anyone who has the following:
M151, M422, M37, M43 Ambulance (particularly interested in these), M715, maybe M38A1s (not sure yet), 5 tons, later deuces, military cars.
