wondered which of these would be considered correct for a 1942 WC58? Left or Right?

If it were me, I would go with the speedometer on the right in your photo:

thanks, that looks like the right one - i will swap out the mile digit wheels as the correct one has the worst set of wheels.... some of the numbers have fallen off!
