LOF glass pane

Post by vargento » Sun Aug 14, 2022 2:46 am

Hi,
does anyone has an original LOF glass pane? If possible with faded edges. Scratches accepted too. It's for a jeep. If cut, it works perfectly....
Thanks

Libbey Owens Ford glass factory. L.O.F. produced glass panes for jeeps and other military trucks. The WC series glass panes are larger but can be easily cut. As far as I know the spare panes were large enough to be used on WC series and (cut) on jeeps.

It's OK but my jeep is original not restored. I would like to have original glasses with the original patina (faded edges). At the moment one glass is LOF (cracked) the other is a Safetee (Safetee was a WW2 supplier but probably not a jeep supplier). The situation is quite good but it I find another LOF and/or a Duplate.....
